I can't help it, I love weddings and sharing love stories. From a young age I was always fascinated with weddings and the design, logistic, and planning that went into it. It may have even sparked first from watching "The Wedding Planner". I focused my education on being able to understand and work with the variety of vendors and key elements within the wedding industry. I believe in planning a wedding with clear communication across the board, this allows for a truly enjoyable and exciting planning experience for everyone involved. I would say my favourite parts of planning are seeing the couples dreams come to life through design and a well thought out timeline. I'm going to celebrate each exciting moment of the planning process with you and be there to navigate and solve the challenging parts.
A true lover of love, and always with a cup of tea in hand. I'm a sucker for a good romcom flick and getting lost in romance.

Shopping for home decor! I can't be trusted in Home Sense alone. I also love a cozy afternoon in a blanket on the couch watching 2000's romcom movies.

Food is definitely one of my love languages, I really don't think I can pick just one favorite, but I will never turn down a great homemade pasta, or sourdough

My #1, my guy, Justin. We've been together for 12 years and he certainly has learned a lot about the wedding industry over that time. He is my favorite person to bounce ideas with. We officially tied the knot in August 2025!

Meet The Team
Kristel David is an experienced wedding and event planner who has been on the Powerful Moments Events team for three years. With an educational background in event marketing, she brings both creative insight and a strong understanding of the strategy, organization, and thoughtful communication that go into creating successful events.
Her diverse experience spans weddings, event catering, catering logistics, nonprofit events, and large scale community celebrations. This well rounded background allows Kristel to confidently manage the many moving pieces of an event while remaining focused on the guest experience and the unique vision behind each celebration.
Kristel is passionate about connecting with couples, learning what makes their love story special, and thoughtfully bringing their ideas to life. Her warm and caring nature, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm help create a planning experience that feels organized, enjoyable, and personal from beginning to end.
In 2025, Kristel was proudly crowned Miss Universe Philippines Canada West, an achievement that reflects her confidence, dedication, and commitment to making a positive impact within her community.

Melissa is a Wedding Planner who brings a warm, thoughtful, and people focused approach to every celebration.
With five years of experience as a Wedding and Events Coordinator at Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club, Melissa has spent years immersed in the wedding industry, helping bring beautiful celebrations to life and witnessing countless love stories along the way. Before entering the world of weddings, she spent more than 15 years in the restaurant and service industry, where she developed the ability to anticipate needs, think quickly, stay calm under pressure, and care deeply for the people around her.
For Melissa, wedding planning is all about connection. She loves getting to know her couples, learning what matters most to them, and discovering the details that make their celebration uniquely theirs. Her goal is always to create space for couples to be fully present, soak in every moment, and enjoy the day they have spent so much time dreaming about.
Creative, organized, calm, and always ready to jump in wherever needed, Melissa loves taking care of the details behind the scenes.
Outside of weddings, Melissa is a proud dance mom, football mom, and cat mom, and she is thrilled to be part of the Powerful Moments Events team.
